The 6 best tools to turn customer feedback into ClickUp tasks in 2026
ClickUp is built to be the whole workspace — tasks, docs, chat, forms. That shapes the problem: either feedback arrives inside ClickUp already, in which case the job is asking good questions of it, or it lives somewhere else and something has to carry it in. The tools below split cleanly along that line, and most of them only do one side.
Modem, which we build, is on this list, and near the bottom, because we have no ClickUp integration. Read our placement with that in mind.

1. Canny
Canny's ClickUp integration works from the post sidebar: create a new ClickUp task, or link one that already exists by Task ID. The admin roadmap can push in bulk, and link and unlink events are written back as comments on the ClickUp task, so the trail is visible from the engineering side.
It carries two-way status sync — change the ClickUp task's status and the linked Canny idea follows. That is the feature that closes the loop with whoever asked, and it is the reason to prefer this over an automation. Note the plan gate: it is on Pro and Business, not the free tier.
Where it fits: a board is the front door for requests and ClickUp is where they get built. Where it doesn't: free-plan Canny, or feedback that arrives as conversation rather than posts.
2. ClickUp Brain
Brain's Connected Search answers questions across ClickUp tasks, docs and chat, and reaches connected apps — Google Drive, Slack, GitHub — so a question about what customers said can draw on material that never became a task.
It reads; it does not create a feedback record. And it can only see what is already in ClickUp or in an app ClickUp connects to. If the conversation happened in Discord, or on a sales call nobody transcribed into the workspace, Brain has nothing to answer from.
Where it fits: the feedback is already inside the workspace and the job is synthesis, not capture.
3. ClickUp Forms
No vendor required. A ClickUp form writes directly into a list as a task with typed fields, and Automations route it from there — assign by area, set priority, move it between statuses.
The limit is the same one every form has: it captures from people willing to use it. That is a real audience for internal requests and a much smaller one for customers, who tend to mention things in whatever channel is already open.
Where it fits: structured intake from a cooperative audience. Where it doesn't: the unstructured majority of what customers actually say.
4. Zapier / Make
Zapier's ClickUp integrations will create a task from almost any trigger — a new row, a form response, a tagged message.
A trigger fires once. Nothing that changes afterwards on the source side reaches the task, and the task carries only the fields the automation was configured to pass. It is the right answer for one specific feed and the wrong answer for a general pipeline, which is the mistake people usually make with it.
Where it fits: one well-defined source. Where it doesn't: anything needing to stay current.
5. Productboard
Productboard pushes prioritized features into delivery tools and pulls status back, so the roadmap reflects what shipped.
Its value is upstream of the task: deciding what deserves building when many customers want different things. If your team already knows what to build and just needs it filed, this is a large tool solving a problem you do not have.
Where it fits: prioritization across many inputs is genuinely the bottleneck.
6. Modem
We do not integrate with ClickUp. Modem writes into Linear, Jira, GitHub, GitLab and Notion; ClickUp is not among them today.
What we do is upstream. Modem builds a graph from the places customers actually talk — Slack, Discord, support, email, sales calls — holding every mention of a topic against the customer who raised it, quote intact. The MCP server hands that graph to any agent, so an agent working in ClickUp can answer who asked for a thing and what they said, and write the task with the evidence attached rather than a title stripped of it.
Where it fits: tasks keep arriving without the context that justifies them, and an agent is already in your workflow. Where it doesn't: you want a native push button. Canny has one; we do not.
How to choose
The split is capture versus synthesis. If feedback already lives in ClickUp or a connected app, Brain answers questions about it with no new vendor. If it lives on a board, Canny's two-way sync is the only option here that keeps both sides honest after the task is filed.
